Managing Directors - Founders
FeedStock was born out of the experiences of two investment professionals, Charlie Henderson and Lucas Wurfbain. For years, they worked with a system that was broken – vast quantities of sell-side research were being blindly distributed with little consideration of the recipient, their specialism or interests. Furthermore, within this research, valuable data was being lost, and opportunities missed. Charlie and Lucas set out to develop an intelligent information management system for the buy-side that would create competitive efficiencies enabling fund managers to make better-informed investment decisions, faster.
With a background as a research analyst and broker, Charlie brings extensive sell-side experience.
Lucas brings buy-side expertise having been an analyst and fund manager at GAM, Rubicon and Fortress.
Discussions with leading experts in data science established that cutting edge machine learning and artificial intelligence could be used to automatically track, cluster and curate the research on behalf of the fund manager. Using an extremely experienced team of developers, FeedStock was born. Initially designed as an information management system, FeedStock quickly evolved to replicate its functionality for wider utility in response to the European Commission Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (“MiFID II”). FeedStock has been designed with an uncompromisingly clean and practical interface for ease of use. Combining this with a sophisticated operating engine gives FeedStock its superior edge.
