Technical Integration Engineer

As the liaison between the Sales and Development teams, you will be responsible for providing technical support throughout the product sales life cycle, from pre-sales to the integration phase and post-sale.

Main responsibilities

Pre-Sale:

  • Pre-sales technical demonstrations and presentations supporting our Sales team
  • Analysis of security and deployment requirements with client’s IT staff
  • Work with our Development team and client’s IT staff for designing bespoke architecture solutions
  • Write system documentation of the proposed bespoke solutions as well as the standard ones
  • Assess and answer security and data privacy questions

Integration:

  • Proactively own high-visibility, high-touch customer relationships during the integration phase (staging, pre production, test users, production)
  • Manage communication and deadlines between client’s IT staff and our Development team

Post-sale:

  • Customer technical support – estimate the size and scope of engineering issues and liaise with clients to manage successful bug fixes
  • Customer success management – maintain close relations with existing clients to ensure smooth continued delivery of product
  • Release planning and system documentation – manage release documentation and communicate updates with client end-users

Skills and experience

  • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyse test scenarios, apply critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to think beyond assigned task, and be a good team player
  • Knowledge of enterprise system installations
  • Knowledge of technology solutions, current trends and techniques including but not limited to:
  • APIs and software development models
  • AWS cloud technologies (cloudformation, cloudwatch)
  • IT security (on-premise and hybrid solutions)
  • Experience writing sample code with previous developing experience a bonus
  • Experience testing APIs using automation tools (e.g. SoapUI, PostMan)
  • Relevant university degree – IT / Computer Science with business management or similar
  • Bonus: knowledge of financial services sector

The successful candidate will be confident delivering both the technical and client-facing aspects that the role demands. Being able to understand the client’s business requirements and mapping those to FeedStock’s technical solution is of paramount importance in this role. As is the ability to articulate complex technical considerations in a clear, coherent way to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Senior Backend Python Developer

We are looking to recruit a talented and passionate senior Python backend developer. You will need to be interested in all things technology and have advanced Python coding skills and experience with Amazon Web Services. You will have a strong understanding of software engineering, have strong object-oriented programming skills and an understanding of automated testing including unit, integration and end-to-end testing. You will report directly to the Head of Development, though the ideal candidate will retain relative autonomy regarding how to deliver to deadlines in line with project management. We are looking for someone who has a team mentality and enjoys contributing in an enthusiastic way to the broader discussion about product strategy, to service delivery planning and to mentoring junior developers.

Senior Front-End Developer

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer, with at least 5 years of experience with the most popular frameworks such as – React, Angular, Vue JS.

The right candidate will be someone who is motivated to translate the UX design into the front-end facing application, with a user-centric approach. You will be working in a small, agile team; the successful candidate will be someone who collaborates with others effectively but also enjoys taking a high level of accountability for their own tasks and workflow. Side activities will include taking part in the product design process, supporting in backend API design as well as designing and implementing POCs (Proof of Concept) and internal data-rich applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the new user-facing features and enhance existing ones on the webapp (currently vue.js)
  • Deliver technical analysis for new features
  • Optimise the web applications for maximum speed, compatibility and scalability
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of mock-up designs and support the design process
  • Improve stability and support the QA team in assessing the quality of the product
  • Work proactively with the development, product & QA team to bring mock-ups to life with new pages and functionalities
